A product series can offer several pixel-pitch options. The useful starting point is the installation itself: where the display will sit, how people will approach it and what they need to see. A short project brief makes those options easier to compare.
Describe the viewing experience
Record where viewers are likely to stand, sit or move past the screen. Include the nearest and typical viewing positions, and explain whether the audience will watch a presentation, read information or see short advertising content. These conditions belong in the brief alongside the screen dimensions.
Pixel pitch describes the spacing between pixels. For a given physical display area, a smaller pitch provides more pixels. That does not make pitch the only selection criterion: the environment, content, installation and service arrangements also need to match the project.
Plan the screen and its content together
Prepare the available width and height, then describe the content format. A presentation, a video backdrop and a narrow information screen may need different arrangements. Confirm the final display resolution and cabinet layout together before preparing finished content.
- Give the usable width and height, including any restrictions around the display.
- Describe the main content: video, presentation slides, text or a combination.
- Provide typical and nearest viewing positions.
- Note whether the site is indoors or outdoors and describe the lighting.
Compare options within the right range
For an indoor installation, explore the indoor LED display range. Brinova and Orionix have their own product pages and specifications. Outdoor, rental and transparent applications are organised separately so that the installation type remains part of the decision.
The Brinova Series specification includes a P1.5625 option with a pixel density of 409,600 pixels/m². Use the specification for the exact configuration being discussed; do not transfer a value from another pitch or series.
Confirm a configuration, not just a pitch
Before approving an order, confirm the selected series and pitch, screen dimensions, cabinet arrangement, content resolution, mounting plan and access for maintenance. Ask for the project-specific specification where a published page does not answer a requirement.
